Results

Project executors:

- collected sources in Russian and Kazakh from the scientific electronic library eLibrary.ru (RSCI), the scientific electronic library “CyberLeninka,” and the website Google Scholar. In addition, materials from the Republican Interuniversity Electronic Library (RIEL) were reviewed;

- analyzed international English-language publications in the Scopus and Web of Science databases;

- developed a comprehensive bibliographic database aimed at identifying the influence of traditional and innovative values on gender roles;

- designed a questionnaire consisting of three sections and selected participants from each region. In June 2025, a survey was conducted using the Google Forms platform. A total of 597 respondents took part in the survey.

During the first year of the research project, a large volume of empirical data was collected using quantitative methods. The results of the surveys and statistical analysis made it possible to identify the specific features of attitudes toward gender roles, as well as traditional and modern cultural values, among the population of southern regions of Kazakhstan.

Based on the findings, the main cultural factors influencing the formation of gender roles were identified, and the interaction between tradition and innovation was examined from an axiological perspective.

Based on the results obtained within the framework of the project, articles were published:
