Declaration of Sovereignty: the beginning of Independence

The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted an international scientific and practical conference "Declaration of Sovereignty: the Beginning of Independence" dedicated to the Republic Day.

The Chairman of the Board - Rector Beibitkul Karimova noted the importance and significance of the national holiday and congratulated those present on the Republic Day.

"Thanks to this declaration, we abandoned the application of Soviet legislation and took a step towards creating our own law. In a short time, our sovereign country has preserved the peaceful position and tolerance of the Kazakh people; the investment attractiveness of our country, rich in natural resources, has manifested itself in the field of civilization," Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna noted.

The international conference in offline and online format was attended by Deputy Akim of Kyzylorda region Nurymbet Saktaganov, Associate Professor of Selcuk University, Doctor of History Shagatay Benhur (Turkey), Professor of Tubingen University.Eberhard and Karl, Doctor of Archaeology Heinrich Harke (Germany), Head of the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of the L. N. Eurasian National University. Gumilyova, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Natalia Kalashnikova (Astana), well-known scientists of universities and research centers, faculty and students of the university, representatives of public organizations and the media.

During the event, scientific developments of the university were presented, as well as scientific innovations. Scientific works of scientists are also presented at the book exhibition.

The International Conference continued with a solemn meeting, where the winners of the essay and dictation contest organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded. 235 university students took part in the essay contest "Kazakhstan of my Dreams" in Kazakh, Russian and English, the winners of the contest were awarded special diplomas and valuable gifts. 1210 students took part in the interuniversity dictation on the topic "Atameken". 20 students who distinguished themselves with spelling literacy and artistic writing were recognized as the best and received letters of thanks from the rector of the university and memorable gifts.

Recall that in June of this year, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev proposed to return the status of a national holiday to the Republic Day by signing a corresponding decree on September 29.
