Professor Yeraly Abdigapparovich is 70 years old

A meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Engineering and Technology at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University was held in honor of the 70th anniversary of Yeraly Abdigapparovich Abzhan, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Associate Professor of the "Mathematics and Applied Mechanics" section.

The event was attended by the Chair of the Board – Rector of the University, Beibitkul Karimova, who highlighted the professor’s significant contributions to the development of education. On behalf of the university community, she presented him with a Certificate of Honor from the Akim of the Kyzylorda Region and extended heartfelt congratulations. 

Notable guests included Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Kylyshbay Bisenov; Chair of the University Veterans’ Council, Candidate of Technical Sciences Bakhyt Kaliyev; Deputy Head of the City Department of Education, Karlygash Akysheva; Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Kyzylorda Agrarian and Technical College named after I. Abdykarimov, Temirbek Baigabylov; Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of Lyceum-Boarding School No. 4 for Gifted Children named after E. Auelbekov, Shynbolat Bainazarov, as well as veteran educators, university faculty members, students, and the professor’s family and students.

Yeraly Abdigapparovich started his labor activity at the University in 1977-1984 as a teacher of the Department of Higher Mathematics and physics, in 1995-1996 he was required to become a head of the educational and methodological Department, in 1999-2001 as the main Methodist of the center in 2001-2011, the Department of higher mathematics, as well as in 2011, the senior teacher, the associate professor of the section "mathematics and Applied Mechanics". 

He is the author of more than 70 scientific and methodological publications, as well as two academic textbooks.

For his outstanding work, Professor Abzhan was honored with the “Y. Altynsarin” badge from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2005; the Korkyt Ata Gold Medal in 2015; the “200 Years of Kyzylorda” Jubilee Medal in 2018; the “Best University Teacher” medal from Korkyt Ata University in 2023; the “For Contribution to Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan” medal in 2025.
