Honoring industry leaders

Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "PetroKazakhstan Kumkol resources" Galym Baimanov on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, a member of the Board -vice-rector for scientific work and international relations of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University Abaybek Zhunusov and director of the Department of science Kali Omarov congratulated him. 

In the course of the session, the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University Beibitkul Karimova presented a congratulatory message and traditional robe.

Galym Duysenbayuly is well known to the intelligentsia as a supporter of the culture and spirituality of the country, education and science. He was able to represent the interests of the country in any position.

In connection with the start of work on the development of the Kumkol mine, he moved to his native land in March 1988 from his position at the Mangyshlakmunai PC. Then, during his career, he worked as a drilling master of the Kumkol deep-use drilling expedition up to the position of vice-president of JSC "Ontustik Munaigas" (1995).

In 1996-2000, he was the head of two departments of JSC "HurricaneKumkolmunai". By the decision of the government, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University was established in 1998 and made a significant contribution to the educational and laboratory formation, scientific and methodological development of the reorganized engineering and environmental faculty. In different years, he was the chairman of the state Attestation Commission at the Faculty of oil and selflessly shared his extensive production experience with students, colleagues and young specialists. Currently he is under such kind of support.

Galym Baimanov was awarded the Order of "Kurmet", the Medal "Eren enbegi ushin", the Jubilee Medal "30^th anniversary of Kazakhstan Independence" by the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Corresponding member of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, candidate of Technical Sciences, Best Engineer of 2015, Honorary citizen of Syrdarya district, Honored Worker of the oil and gas industry, Honorary prospector of subsurface resources.

In 2009, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University" for his outstanding activity in the formation of the material and technical base of the University, improving the quality of personnel training.
