The university's academic buildings are equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories and multimedia equipment, allowing students to receive a high-quality education and conduct scientific research. A comfortable learning environment!

Our university owns nine modern buildings, each equipped with spacious, bright classrooms, high-tech laboratories, and comfortable lounge areas. Multimedia tools, high-speed internet and digital libraries are available to ensure an effective learning experience. Additionally, each building offers dining facilities and individual work areas for student convenience.

Main academic building

Address: Kyzylorda city, Aiteke bi 29A

This building is the main administrative center, housing the offices of the university administration, including the offices of the Chairman of the Board - Rector and the vice-rectors (for academic work, science and international relations, social and educational work, strategic development and IT).

Academic building №1

Address: Kyzylorda, Abulkhair Khan st., 50A

- From January 10 to 22, routine repairs were carried out in classroom № 214.
- From May 12 to 18, canopies were installed at the emergency entrance to the building.
- On May 5, repair work began on the toilet on the 1st floor of the building.
- On May 22, the fountain in front of the building was put into operation.
- From May 5 to 11, work was carried out to eliminate the deficiencies identified by the administration.

Overall, the university's academic buildings are equipped with multimedia equipment, high-speed internet and digital libraries to facilitate the efficient learning process. For student convenience, cafeterias and self-study areas are also available.

Academic building №3

Building № 3 of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University is an important center for military education and student training. This building houses the university's military department, which trains future Kazakhstani officers and helps students obtain military ranks.

Academic Building No. 3 is fully equipped with modern facilities and equipment to fully support the military department's educational process. Specialized classrooms, designed according to the department's requirements, allow for in-depth theoretical learning.

Currently, the military department's facilities include classrooms equipped with an RPG-7 grenade launcher simulator, a Strelets simulator and other training and preparation equipment. 

Practical training utilizes three GAZ-66 trucks, BMP-1 and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles and their training equipment, field simulators of man-portable air defense systems, mock-ups of small arms and weapons of mass destruction, and other protective equipment. The training center (testing ground) is fully utilized for training camps and comprehensive practical exercises.

Academic building №4

To improve the quality of students’ education, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University is systematically upgrading its facilities. According to this, the physics laboratories of the Engineering and Technology Institute in Building № 4 have been updated with new equipment.

Nine units of new laboratory equipment, acquired through government procurement, will now allow first-year students to deepen their knowledge.

The new equipment will allow students to consolidate their theoretical knowledge in practice and develop skills in working with modern technology.

Academic building №5

Address: Kyzylorda, Abay Avenue 66A

In the academic building № 5 of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University in 2023, large-scale reconstruction and improvement works were carried out and are still being carried out with the aim of creating a comfortable and modern environment for students and staff.

Students conduct laboratory classes in 10 computer labs equipped with new Intel Core i5 computers (2.5 GHz, 8-16 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD). 

Additionally, Laboratory № 321 «3D Printing» is equipped with 3D printers and a 3D scanner for the subject «Fundamentals of 3D Technologies».

Robotics Lab № 316, dedicated to the «Fundamentals of Robotics» course, utilizes various robots and quad copters, including the Ultimate Robot Kit V2.0, Turtlebot3 Burger, Robotis Turtlebot, and the LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3 base set (updated last year). The lab is equipped with a safety net for free-flight drones and is used for practical exercises, master's theses and final-year research projects.

Academic building №6

A number of ongoing repairs have been and are being carried out in the building: In classrooms № 304 – «Materials Processing Technology Shop» and № 307 – «Clothing Assembly and Design Shop», work was completed on leveling floors, laying laminate flooring, replacing electrical wiring, plastering and filling walls.

Restrooms and showers: Renovation work has already begun and is nearing completion. A bid was submitted in advance to the government procurement department.

Classroom 104: The wooden floor in this classroom has been removed and a concrete screed has been poured. The electrical wiring has been updated, and the walls have been leveled. Plans call for plastering the walls, painting the heating system, and installing laminate flooring.

Heating systems: Work has begun on a complete replacement of the building's heating systems and risers, which is currently nearing completion (approximately 85% of works are completed). Full completion is planned.

Administrative Notes: Notes issued by the administration have been implemented.

Cleaning: Cleaning and grass cutting will be carried out around the building throughout the summer.

Academic building №7

During the winter student holidays, painting, whitewashing and emulsification works were carried out in some classrooms (No. 206, 210, 310, 410, 416), as well as work to replace shut-off valves and heating system pipes.

In February, cleaning, leveling and plastering of the third-floor lobby walls were completed. In April, the building's cafeteria drainage system was completely redone. Routine maintenance in the building (whitewashing, painting, and plastering) will begin in late May. Removal of the old tile from the lobby floor and installation of new tiles are scheduled for mid-June.

Academic building № 9

Educational building № 9 fully implements educational programs in the areas of «Biology, Geography and Chemistry» and «Physical Education and Basic Military Training».

The Zoological Museum occupies a prominent space within the building. Its collection comprises 215 exhibits, including 30 mammal collections, 44 bird collections and 50 entomological collections of insects and other vertebrates and invertebrates. The collection also includes dissected specimens demonstrating the skeletons and anatomical structure of animal internal organs.

Specially equipped classrooms are available for physical education and basic military training (basic military training, physical education theory and methodology, sports, and chess). Students also have access to a fully equipped sports complex, including  sports games and gymnastics halls, a martial arts hall, a weight room, and a Sports Glory Museum. Outdoor activities include a training ground, summer soccer, basketball and volleyball courts.
