Applications for participation in the January UNT are still being accepted

The acceptance of applications for participation in the January UNT has been extended until January 11 inclusive. At the moment, about 130 thousand applications have been accepted. The testing will take place from January 16 to February 10.

Recall that the January UNT involves persons who did not score a threshold score based on the results of summer testing and enrolled in full-time education on a paid basis conditionally, studying at a university who want to transfer from creative to other areas of training, who want to transfer to pedagogical areas of training on a paid basis, as well as students graduating from schools for admission to the university on a paid basis is optional.

You can register on the website of the National Testing Center or via the UTO app. When registering, the test takers themselves choose the place, date and time of the exam.

The number of subjects at the UNT remains the same – three compulsory and two to choose from. However, the number of assignments in the compulsory subjects "Reading literacy" and "Mathematical literacy" will be reduced by 5 questions. The number of questions on core subjects will increase to 40.

It is important to note that 5 tasks will be added to the profile subjects to match the selection from the list. Thus, the number of tasks for the UNT-2024 remains unchanged – 120. Including 20 tasks on the "History of Kazakhstan", 10 tasks on "Reading literacy", 10 tasks on "Mathematical literacy" and 40 tasks in two specialized subjects. The maximum number of points also remains unchanged – 140 points.

The testing time is 4 hours (240 minutes). It is worth noting here that an additional 40 minutes will be saved for children with special educational needs.
