Scientific and industrial initiatives were discussed

During his visit to Kyzylorda region, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of RoK Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki, together with a delegation of higher educational institutions and research institutes, met with Managing Director for HR and Industrial Safety of NAC Kazatomprom JSC Zhanat Omirbekov to discuss cooperation in the field of science and industry.
The parties discussed the prospects for the integration of scientific research, the current production needs of NAC Kazatomprom JSC and the possibilities of solving them with the help of advanced scientific achievements. During the visit, they visited Khorasan-1 and Kharasan-2 uranium mines.

The meeting was held in accordance with the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov at a meeting of the Higher Scientific and Technical Commission. The purpose of the meeting was to develop new mechanisms for the formation of priority areas for the development of scientific and technical activities, to address the needs and demands of a particular economy, to improve cooperation between science and business, as well as to promote commercialization projects for the production of new export-oriented products.

A scientific and technological hackathon will be held on September 20-21 at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University. There, leading scientists will work on solving specific production tasks of the company. The hackathon will become a platform for generating scientific and technological ideas and developing solutions aimed at meeting current needs. It will also set a new vector of development of Kazakhstan's industry and science in general.
