The nineteenth new auditorium was opened at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University at the expense of sponsors

The auditorium named after Kelis Zhailybai, Honorary Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences, was opened at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University. A man who devoted his adult life to search, apprenticeship, worked for more than 40 years without interruption and earned the favor of the general public.

"There is every reason to consider Kelis Nurmashovich a well-known rice scientist, a qualified specialist in the field of plant physiology, agronomy, botany, ecology. In 1998-2004 he worked as an associate professor of the Department of Biology, Geography and Ecology. He devoted almost ten years to the development of the university, the education of high-quality specialists,” said Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna.

The topics underlying the scientist's research work also differ in their breadth of coverage. The main scientific works were devoted to the development of the theory of photosynthesis and photosynthetic productivity of rice crops in the Aral Sea region and morphophysiological methods of new rice varieties. Formulated and introduced into production a new improved varietal technology for growing rice on saline lands.

2 textbooks, 14 textbooks and 2 teaching materials of the professor in the fields of ecology and biology have been published.

At the solemn meeting, the Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova awarded the daughter of Kelis Nurmashuly Akmaral Kelisovna and his student Bakhyt Kuanyshbekovich with the "Korkyt Ata Gold Medal" for their contribution to the strategic development of our educational institution.
