Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University discussed the President's Address

A round table "NPP construction: the experience of developed countries and prospects for Kazakhstan" was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai spoke at the meeting, noting the importance of the referendum to be held on October 6.

The speakers discussed the place of nuclear energy in the country's economy, environmental and energy benefits. Students and teachers were provided with extensive information on the role of nuclear power plants as a sustainable and safe source of energy.

"Nuclear energy is currently the most efficient method. Because it has ten times greater energy efficiency compared to existing thermal power plants and does not emit harmful substances into the environment. Over the past 3 years, technologies have been developing, all safety rules have been provided,” said Professor Nurbol Appazov.

Let's recall that in the Address, the Head of State noted that a national referendum will be held on October 6. At the same time, the tasks outlined in the Address were discussed at the educational institution, and events were held to exchange views.
