This year, for the first time, the Day of Higher Education Workers is celebrated

A press conference was held at the site of the Regional Communications Service within the framework of October 1 - the Day of Higher Education Workers.
Ibadulla Tautenov, Professor of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, took part in the event.
"Much attention is paid to the training of promising specialists by approving the professional holiday of higher education workers. About 80% of specialists in the economic sectors of the region are graduates of our university. Over the past five years, more than 12 thousand specialists have been trained. No matter what job they work in, they become masters of their craft and elevate the status of the university. This is the result of hard work and diligent searches of the team,” said Ibadulla Tautenov.

Currently, the number of employees of the university is 1,120 full-time units. In 2024-2025, the share of teachers with an academic degree became 51%. The average age of the faculty and staff of the university with an academic degree is 46 years.
The university's budget has increased 2,3 times over the past five years. Due to the steady growth of the financial situation in the last four years, the salaries of the teaching staff increased by more than 3 times, and the rest of the employees by more than 2 times.
