Artificial intelligence and modern education: a seminar meeting was held at Korkyt Ata University

An offsite seminar-meeting of the educational and methodological association on the specialties "Information and Communication technologies" and "Information security" was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University. The main topic of the seminar is "Artificial intelligence: time for effective application".

The seminar was attended by vice-rectors, deans and university professors from different regions of the country. During the seminar, 5th academic building of the university was presented to the participants. During the campus tour, the guests saw the benefits of introducing artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process and witnessed how they can be used in classrooms, laboratories and IT infrastructure.

The presentation of the educational building was attended by Vice-rector for Research and International Relations Mainur Abiltayevna and Vice-rector for Strategic Development and IT Mahmut Muratovich, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Bayanali Amantayevich, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Nurlan Kulmurzaev and Professor, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Nurbol Appazov.

The seminar presented innovations in the field of IT education and conducted a comparative analysis of the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the education system. The moderator was Chairman of the Management Board-Rector of JSC IITU Asylbek Isakhov. In his speech, Isakhov noted that he would make every effort to introduce artificial intelligence into the higher education system. In addition, he said that artificial intelligence has been put into use at the University of IITU by 100 percent. The following words of congratulations were delivered by the rector of Korkyt ata University Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna and the representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RoK Gulzhan Sagidollaevna.

In her speech, Sagidollaevna noted: "We gathered at Korkyt Ata University for the next meeting of the association of higher educational institutions. The reason why we chose Korkyt Ata University is the opening of the Higher School of Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with Seoul Technical University. This project is being implemented as part of the execution of the President's instructions on the development of artificial intelligence in the country. To see how the work on artificial intelligence is going at the university, to discuss its importance and possibilities in the future."

HUAWEI's solutions in the field of artificial intelligence were presented at the seminar, and practical sessions were held for participants who had the opportunity to acquire specific skills in the effective use of artificial intelligence. The seminar was devoted to discussing new approaches in the training of IT specialists and the modern model of engineering education.
