This year, 26 students were awarded a scholarship by the President of RoK

26 students of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University received a scholarship from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since September of this year, the Presidential Scholarship has been awarded to students who have distinguished themselves by "excellent" academic performance and activity in the social work of the university. 

There is always systematic support for educated and active youth. One of the holders of the presidential scholarship is a 4th–year student of the specialty "Kazakh language and literature", chairman of the student theater "Zhaukazyn" Akniet Maulen.

"When we first entered the educational institution, we were lucky enough to meet the holders of the Presidential Scholarship. Then the goal arose: "I will also be such an excellent student." But the presidential scholarship is awarded from the 3rd year. This required "excellent" marks at all subjects for over two courses. Having achieved this goal, I am now receiving a scholarship for more than 81 thousand tenge," says Akniet Kairatovna. 

The scholarship is provided to full-time students, starting from the 3rd year on a state educational order and on a fee-based basis only to those students who study with "excellent" (A, A-) marks.

The scholarship is awarded to the following categories of students:

1) winners of national and international Olympiads, creative contests, sports competitions, festivals or news authors;

2) has publications in collections of scientific papers, national and international scientific journals;

3) actively engaged in research work, whose successes are confirmed by diplomas, certificates of achievement, certificates, awards;

4) those who take an active part in the social, cultural and sports life of the educational organization.
