Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting in Kyzylorda as part of career guidance

A meeting for parents and graduates within the framework of career guidance was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University. At the meeting, Board Member of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University - Vice Rector for Strategic Development and IT Mahmut Tomanov noted the advantages and strategic development of the university.

The meeting was attended by Ruslan Yemelbayev, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Aidos Zhumanazarov, a career counsellor, founder of @eduser.online, and explanatory work was carried out.

At the meeting, the issues of applicants submitting documents to universities in the optimal way, choosing a profession, self-analysis of the distribution of grants and the probability of admission, government programs and various life insurance were explained. The ways of obtaining an international diploma and transfer to an educational institution were also clarified.  

"During today's meeting, we conducted a survey of graduates. As a result, it turned out that most of the graduates chose the disciplines of biology-chemistry and metropolitan cities. In addition, ignoring the demand of the labor market, parents and graduates choose those specialties where the most educational grants are allocated.

Our goal is to promote an informed choice of a future profession, taking into account the abilities and inclinations of each student," said Aidos Zhumanazarov.

The head of the city department of education, Zhanat Saduakasova, graduates of 57 schools in the city of Kyzylorda, directors, deputies and the parent community took part in the meeting and asked topical questions to industry specialists.

The participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences. Currently, explanatory work is continuing in the districts of  Kyzylorda region.
