Three different varieties of apple trees have been planted in the Botanical Garden

A trilateral agreement has been signed at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University for the purpose of landscaping the Botanical Garden and acclimatization of fruit trees. 
At the meeting, a trilateral memorandum was signed between Board member - Vice-rector for Strategic Development and IT Mahmut Tomanov, Chairman of the Board of Kondratovsky Experimental and Demonstration Tree Nursery LLP Amanzhol Kebekbayev and Director of the Saryagash regional branch of the “Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute” LLP Kuttymurat Agayev. 

Currently, there are more than 2 thousand ornamental and fruit trees in the Botanical Garden of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

«Today we have planted various fruit trees for the purpose of testing by our partners. In particular, three different varieties of apple trees were imported. If the trees adapt to the local environment, then next spring they will bear fruit,» says Samalbek Kosanov, director of the Botanical Garden and Greenhouse of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

In the future, if the fruit trees show good results, Saryagash regional branch of the “Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute” LLP plans to plant about 100 seedlings in the spring.
