Republican conference dedicated to the 525th anniversary of Muhammad Haidar Dulati

The Republican conference «Historical, civilizational aspects of the heritage of M.H. Dulati», dedicated to the 525th anniversary of the historian, scientist Muhammad Haidar Dulati was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.
The conference was held by Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai, who researched the scientific heritage of the historical figure and noted the importance of combining its historical and cultural significance with modern ones. During the conference, reputable scientists of the country made a number of important reports.
The first speaker was Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bereket Karibayev on the topic «M. H. Dulati is the first researcher of the history of the Kazakh Khanate.» In his speech, he focused on his role in the history of the Kazakh Khanate and noted the influence of his works on modern science.

Director of the Foundation of M. H.  Dulati and a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kazybek, discussed Dulati's significant contribution to Eastern civilization in a report on the topic «Muhammad Haidar Dulati and Eastern civilization».
And Professor of M.H.Dulati Taraz Regional University, Doctor of Philology Samen Kulbarak, within the framework of the topic «Writing skills of M.H. Dulati and the epic «Jahan-name» analyzed the literary heritage of Dulati, namely the artistic features of the epic «Jahan-name».
In addition, professor at M. H. Dulati Taraz University  Candidate of Historical Sciences Seidakhan Baktyorazov in the report «Historical and cognitive data in the work of M. H. Dulati «Tarikh-i Rashidi» noted the valuable contribution of this work to the history of Kazakhstan.

Professor of EP «History and Archaeology» of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, Doctor of Historical Sciences Uteubai Kozhakovich in his report «On translations and handwritten versions of the work «Tarikh-i Rashidi» discussed the history and features of the translation of the manuscripts of Dulati, scientist of EP «History and Archaeology», Doctor of Historical Sciences Tastanbek Satbai in his work «M. H. Dulati is a politician, scientist, commander,» spoke about Dulati's political activities and his abilities of the military command.

At the end of the conference, the participants noted that the creative and scientific legacy of Muhammad Haidar Dulati is relevant for the present and identified the need for further in-depth study of his works.
