Korkyt ata University student became the bronze medalist of the World Championship

A 2nd year student of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, a promising young athlete Aslan Eldibayevich won a bronze medal at the World Youth Boxing Championship in Montenegro. This victory of Aslan is a great pride not only for him, but also for the university staff and the entire Kazakh country.

About 600 athletes from 73 countries took part in the battles in Budva, Montenegro. Young people who performed on the world stage demonstrated their skills and defended the honor of their country. Aslan in the heavyweight category, defending the honor of the country, held his fights at a high level. In his first match on the field, he proved his skills by knocking out Chinese Zhang Dan in the second round. In the second meeting, he defeated Uzbek Jafarbek Shahbazov with a clear advantage and reached the semifinals.

In the semifinal meeting, Aslan tirelessly fought for the bronze medal and proved worthy of the prize. Thus, Aslan Eldibayevich became the bronze medalist of the World Youth Boxing Championship. This is not his first success in the international arena. Earlier, the young athlete won a silver medal at the Asian Junior Championship.

The university staff and all students congratulate Aslan on his victory and wish him new victories in the upcoming competitions.
