This year, 20 million tenge has been allocated for the project of young scientists

Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University annually awards grants to support the scientific research of young scientists. This year, the total amount of the grant increased by 20 million tenge, 15 projects became winners.

This is aimed at supporting research and innovative projects of young scientists. In addition, it is an opportunity to increase the scientific potential of the university and implement innovative research at the regional and national levels.

"A great impetus was given to us by the fact that this year the total cost of the rector's grant increased to 20 million tenge. This support gives us the opportunity to publish our scientific articles in leading publications, as well as develop as individuals. In my project, I propose a modern model of state regulation of the digital transformation of the agricultural sector. As a result of the project, I will develop and propose a new mechanism for subsidizing climate financing of agriculture," said Aghzhan Sailaubekovna, a young scientist.

Since 2021, a special grant has been allocated to young scientists under the age of 40 at the university to conduct research. To date, financial support has been provided to 33 projects totaling 50 million tenge.

It should be noted that in 2024, the total income from science in an educational institution increased 4 times. In addition, the activity of the teaching staff in publishing articles in indexed journals is growing every year. In particular, 99 scientific articles were published in the Scopus database in 2024, and 50 scientific articles in the Web of Science database. The University issues 8 scientific journals to publish the results of scientific research.
