Meeting with poet-journalist Musagali Taskaliev

A meeting was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University on the topic “Sport and art are twins.” The event was attended by the editor-in-chief of the republican magazine “Sport zhuldyzdary”, honorary professor of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, poet-journalist Musagali Taskaliev.

During the meeting, the director of the Kaysar football club, deputy of the regional maslikhat Sadik Mustafayev noted Musagali Sabyrgalievich's contribution to society and wished the students good luck. In addition, the director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, Nurlybek Akhatayev, wished the guest of honor creative success and thanked him for the time spent for meeting with students.

The event was attended by talented students who are involved in sports and art. Aidana Toleu and Ersain Myrzabekov performed Musagali Taskaliev's songs, and the young poet Asu Shalabai expressively read his poems. Musagali Sabyrgalievich answered students' questions regarding artistic endeavour, literature and sports, and shared his life experience.

At the end of the evening, on behalf of the university staff, the guest of honor was presented with a memorable gift. The solemn event was organized by the Institute of Natural Sciences and the Department of Physical Culture and Initial Military Training. The meeting ended with a touching poem by the young poet Yersultan Mustafayev dedicated to Musagali Taskaliyev.
