For the first time, a course in business analytics was held among regional universities

For the first time among regional universities, a course in business analytics was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

Power BI coach Asia Kazhenova shared her experience with the participants, talked about the advantages of the modern method and its effectiveness in the field of education.

The seminar was aimed at expanding the possibilities of university management using data. Today, this method is widely used in the oil and gas industry, the MMC sector, the banking and telecommunications industries.

During the three-day workshop, with the help of Power BI, heads of structures and teachers learned how to collect complex data and present it in the form of understandable graphs and diagrams. This paves the way for a quick and effective analysis of the university's key indicators.

"Power BI has many advantages for university staff. In particular, it will be possible to efficiently and time-effectively carry out data analysis, decision-making, planning and reporting,” says Mahmut Tomanov, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and IT.

The seminar was attended by the heads of structures, the teaching staff of the educational institution, who studied the methods and techniques of using digital technologies in the field of higher education. The participants were awarded special certificates.
