Round table discussion «PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS THROUGH EDUCATION AND RESEARCH»

Non-profit Joint Stock Company «Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University», Republican Public Association «National Alliance of Professional Social Workers», Association of legal entities «Association of Schools of Social Work» invite you to participate in Round table discussion «PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS THROUGH EDUCATION AND RESEARCH», which will be held in Kyzylorda on February 28, 2025 at 2 p.m. on the basis of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The purpose of the Round table is to discuss and promote ideas in the context of integrating sustainable development into educational, research, and socio-economic processes.

Representatives of state and local executive bodies, non-governmental organizations, research centers, experts in the field of SDGs, the business community, higher education institutions and other interested parties are invited to participate.

Expected results:
• Building sustainable partnerships: strengthening the commitment of the SDG roundtable participants to jointly plan and implement sustainable development initiatives in the region;
• Strengthening human capital: developing the professional competencies of teachers and researchers to integrate the principles of sustainable development into curricula and research projects;
• Recognizing the importance of social work: raising awareness among the public about the importance of social work in achieving the SDGs.
