A round table dedicated to the development of the green economy and construction was held at Korkyt Ata University

Within the framework of the Month of Science, a round table was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University on the topic: "Sustainability and transition to a green economy, development of education in the construction sector." During the event, issues related to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, familiarization with current trends in the field of green construction and the exchange of experience in this area were raised. 

At the opening of the event, the Chairman of Board-Rector of the university Beibitkul Karimova, delivered a foreword. She signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Green Building Council (KazGBC), PhD Alexander Bely. This agreement will make it possible to implement joint projects in the field of green economy.

Candidate of Economics, Director of the Department of Strategy and IT Nurbakhyt Nurmukhametov, Executive Director of KazGBC PhD Alexander Bely, Technical Director of the Master's Degree Aiman Shopayeva and Head of the educational program "Architecture and Construction Production", Candidate of Technical Sciences Gulnaz Zhakapbayeva made informative presentations at the round table.

At the end of the round table, the need to strengthen educational and scientific cooperation towards the transition to a green economy was noted.
