Students won the Republican Olympiad

Students of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University took the first place in the Republican intellectual competition "Pi Navigator: on the way to discovering the WORLD of SCIENCE", which was held at Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Almaty.

30 teams from sixteen universities of Kazakhstan took part in the educational competition. The competition was attended by students of the educational program "Physics and Mathematics" of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University Gulzhaz Nurat, Aidar Akzhol, Bekdos Kosymbai, Dias Kanybek, Akbota Bakhytbekokyzy, Dinara Bazarkhankyzy.

The purpose of the Olympiad is the formation of intellectual potential, the selection of talented and gifted students and the training of scientists, engineers and experts of a new generation.

At the competition, students presented their projects in the fields of physics, mathematics, information technology and ecology. The students defended projects on biotechnology, environmental control and the improvement of alternative energy sources. 

"Our project is an ecoenergy park for our veteran teachers and students. This project generally helps to strengthen the continuity of generations between young people and the elderly. In addition, we offer ways to produce and efficiently use energy in accordance with the regional climate of the city of Kyzylorda," says Gulzhaz Nurat, a student of the educational program Physics and Mathematics.
