We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting students through the Türkiye International Exchange Scholarship (TIES) Program for one or two academic terms.

The Türkiye International Exchange Scholarship (TIES) Program is a scholarship initiative developed collaboratively by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) within the broader Türkiye Scholarships framework. The primary aim of this program is to strengthen Türkiye’s academic, cultural, and economic ties at the international level by facilitating student mobility based on bilateral agreements—excluding Erasmus+ and other similar exchange schemes.

Program Requirements and Exchange Guidelines
Some key eligibility criteria and procedural guidelines under the TIES 

Program are outlined below:
a) Only students registered in formal education programs at higher education institutions abroad are eligible. Those enrolled in open, non-formal, external, or distance learning programs are not eligible for participation.
b) The exchange duration must be at least one semester and may extend up to two semesters. While adjustments can be made according to the academic calendar of the host institution, the total exchange period cannot exceed one academic year.
c) Students in the preparatory or first year of associate or bachelor’s programs, as well as graduate students in preparatory or scientific foundation periods, are not eligible to join the program during their first main academic semester.

The required documents for application are as follows:
a) A valid ID or passport,
b) Transcripts showing the courses taken by the candidate during their associate, undergraduate,
master's and doctoral education and their success status,
c) An official document indicating that doctoral candidates who do not have transcripts are registered
as doctoral students.
d) Enclosed form

Notification of Accepted Candidates by YTB: June 2–20, 2025
Candidates Sign Scholarship Commitment Declarations: June 23 – July 4, 2025
Arrival of Candidates in Türkiye: September 15 – October 15, 2025
