Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and SeoulTech: New Opportunities in Education

Chairwoman of the Board – Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Beibitkul Karimova, met with students of Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech).

Along with the Korean delegation, prospective students interested in studying at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and their parents also attended the event. During the meeting, the requirements and opportunities of the program were explained in detail.

In her address, the Rector emphasized: “The double degree program is a great opportunity for young people. Through this program, our students can study the first two years at Korkyt Ata University and continue the next two years in Korea. As a result, they receive diplomas from both countries and become internationally competitive specialists. The most important thing is the desire to learn languages and to acquire new knowledge.”

In addition, Korean students introduced themselves and gave an overview of their universities’ features, Korean culture and traditions, as well as their daily student life.

The arrival of foreign students in Kyzylorda was organized within the framework of the international exchange program. This program enables young people from both countries to learn from each other in the field of education, open up new opportunities, and implement joint projects.

Furthermore, a selection exam for students wishing to enroll in the double degree program was held at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. A total of 166 applicants took the special test, and only 30 students were selected. In addition, 10 applicants with an international IELTS certificate were admitted without an exam. Thus, a total of 40 students will study under the joint double degree program of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and SeoulTech University.
