Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University announces a competition to fill a temporary vacant position of Head of the Media Center
To participate in the competition, applicants must submit the following documents:
1) an application to participate in the competition;
2) a copy of an identity document;
3) a service record of the applicant with a color photograph (3×4 cm);
4) copies of education certificates and transcripts, with originals provided for verification;
5) a copy of a document confirming employment history, certified by the HR department at the current or most recent place of work;
6) a list of scientific publications and inventions (if available);
7) Form №075/u “Medical Certificate (Professional Medical Advisory Conclusion)” in accordance with the Order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 №DSM-175/2020 (registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 4, 2020, No. 21579) KR;
8) a certificate confirming the presence or absence of a criminal record, issued by the Committee on legal statistics and special records of the General prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Submission of an incomplete set of documents in accordance with the above list shall be grounds for refusal to accept the application in an arbitrary form. The applicant may submit additional information regarding education and professional level (list of scientific publications, letters of recommendation from the management of the previous place of employment), as well as documents confirming work experience and qualifications.
The Head of the Media Center must have knowledge of: the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Mass Media”; other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan relevant to the position; principles of effective information management; procedures for preparation, maintenance, and storage of documentation related to the university’s information support activities; modern information and communication technologies (word processors, spreadsheets), principles of Internet use, and methods of operating multimedia equipment; basics of communication psychology, sociology, and professional ethics; fundamentals of labor legislation; internal regulations; occupational health and safety rules, and fire safety regulations. The Head of the Media Center is required to regularly review regulatory legal acts related to their professional activities.
Qualification requirements: Higher (or postgraduate) education in a relevant field and at least 3 years of work experience in relevant positions.
Deadline for submission of documents: September 17, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. The date and venue of the competition will be announced additionally.
