The university's female student football players performed successfully at the competitions in Astana, winning prizes

The female sportsmen of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University took an honorable third place in the QFSQL Student Foothall League among girls, which took place from October 3rd to 9th in Astana.

The competitions were organized with the support of the Kazakhstan Football Federation and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, bringing together about 100 students from higher education institutions across the country.

During the tournament, the Korkyt Ata University team was among the best and demonstrated a high-leveled play. Balkhanym Baratova, a player from Aral Sea region, who distinguished herself with skillful play in the foothall match, received the «Best Defender» nomination at the end of the competition.

This achievement is the result of the perseverance and desire to win of the university's sportsmen. The university team wholeheartedly congratulates the girls who became prize-winners in our capital, Astana!
