ANNOUNCEMENT of the Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility competition of the European Union for Students and Master's Students

The Department of International Relations of Korkyt Ata University announces a competition for International Credit Mobility under the Erasmus+ European Union project for studies in English in the spring term of 2026 at the University of Lodz, Poland. The available educational programs are within the faculties of Law and Administration, Economics and Sociology, Biology and Environmental Protection, Geographical Sciences, International and Political Studies, Philosophy and History, Management, Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics and Applied Informatics, Chemistry, Pedagogical Sciences, and Philology (Foreign and Russian Languages, Cultural Studies and Media Research, Journalism).

Students of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, and Master's students of the 1st and 2nd years (excluding final year students) of relevant educational programs are eligible to participate in the competition.

Upon successful selection, participants will receive an EU Erasmus+ project grant covering all expenses, including round-trip travel, medical insurance, visa fees, dormitory accommodation and a monthly stipend of 800 Euros. The study period will be from February to June 2026.

 

Applicants must submit the following documents:

 

1.     Application for participation in the competition addressed to the Head of the University, including full student details (institute, major, group, passport details, residential address, email).

2.     Copy of the Republic of Kazakhstan citizen's passport and copy of the identity card.

3.     Certificate obtained through international foreign language proficiency assessment systems (IELTS/TOEFL).

4.     Transcript of current academic performance (GPA of at least 3.0 points) (certified with signature and stamp).

5.     Certificate of enrollment from the place of study (certified with signature and stamp).

6.     Applicant's Questionnaire (obtain from the Department of International Relations).

7.     Learning Agreement (to be filled out jointly with the academic advisor and the Head of the Educational Program).

8.     Motivation Letter.

9.     Scanned copy of the school certificate or Bachelor's degree diploma.

10.  Other documents confirming your qualifications (certificates, awards).

The selection of recommended candidates will be conducted by the University of Lodz (Poland) following an online Skype interview.
