Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University announces a competetion to fill the vacant position of System administrator of the Infrastructure solutions department

To participate in the competition, applicants must submit the following documents:
1) an application for participation in the competition;
2) a copy of an identity document of the competition participant;
3) a service record of the participant with a color photograph sized 3×4 cm;
4) copies of educational diplomas and their supplements, with originals provided for verification;
5) a copy of a document confirming work experience, certified by the HR department at the current or most recent place of employment;
6) a list of scientific publications and inventions (if available);
7) Form №075/u “Medical Certificate (Medical Professional Advisory Conclusion)” approved by the Order of the Acting Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 № DSM-175/2020 (registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 4, 2020, №21579) RK;
8) a certificate on the presence or absence of criminal records issued by the Committee on legal statistics and special records of the General prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Submission of an incomplete set of documents in accordance with the list specified above constitutes grounds for refusal to accept the application in an arbitrary form.

A competition participant has the right to submit additional information regarding their education and professional level (list of scientific publications, recommendations from previous employers), as well as documents confirming work experience and qualifications.

Knowledge and skills required for the System administrator:
The System administrator must have knowledge of legislative and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan governing the protection of state secrets and other restricted information; regulatory and methodological documents related to technical information security; protected information infrastructure objects; the specialization and areas of activity of the organization and its divisions; applied information technologies and systems; management, communication, and automation structures; technical intelligence tools and methods for assessing their capabilities; information security threats and classification of violations; technical equipment of information infrastructure facilities; systems and tools for technical information protection; security services and mechanisms of automated control systems; access control subsystems; attack detection subsystems; protection subsystems against intentional interference; methods for monitoring information integrity; prospects for development and modernization of security systems; methods for assessing the state of security systems; identification of information leakage channels; control of backup and redundancy processes of critical computing and information resources; procedures for working with technical, software, and hardware information protection tools, security services and audit mechanisms of automated control systems.

The candidate must possess practical skills and knowledge, including familiarity with national IT standards; technologies related to server equipment; experience in preparing technical requirement documentation and specifications; knowledge of basic information security requirements; experience administering virtualization systems, domain infrastructures, data storage systems from various vendors, and data backup systems; knowledge and practical skills in administering various operating systems (Linux, Windows) and services (AD, DNS, DHCP, mail systems, Proxy, Firewall); knowledge of legislation in the field of informatization; practical experience with server hardware and system software. Relevant certifications are an advantage.

The System administrator must also have basic knowledge of economics, labor organization and management, labor legislation, internal labor regulations, industrial sanitation, and fire safety requirements.
Qualification requirements: Higher (or incomplete higher) education in a relevant specialty with at least 1 year of work experience, or secondary technical and vocational education (secondary specialized or secondary professional) in a relevant specialty (qualification).

Deadline for submission of documents: December 4, 2025, by 5:00 PM.

The date and venue of the competition will be announced additionally.
