Korkyt Ata University welcomes Aziza Shuzheeva on a working visit

Aziza Shuzheeva, a member of the Board of Directors of «Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University» NJSC, visited Aral Sea region and got acquainted with the educational institution's operations.

Aziza Shuzheeva held personal meetings with the university's vice-rectors, discussing issues of strategic development, corporate governance, digitalization, research activities, and improving the quality of education.

Besides, Aziza Shuzheeva met with the heads of structural divisions, faculty, and representatives of student organizations, clarifying key strategic directions.

The following key areas were discussed:

- Strategic development goals of the university for 2025–2029;

- Relevance of educational programs and their connection to the labor market;

- New opportunities in science, project management, and R&D;

- Improving the corporate governance culture;

- Prospects for the development of digitalization, data management, cybersecurity, and digital services;

- Effectiveness of the risk management and internal control system.

A scheduled meeting of the governing body of «Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata» NJSC occurred. The meeting was attended by Board member Aziza Timurovna and the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the university, Beibitkul Karimova.

Important issues aimed at the strategic development of the university, improving the quality of corporate governance, and ensuring financial stability were considered at the meeting. Aziza Timurovna shared her competent opinions and proposals on the documents reviewed, actively participating in the discussion of the content of the adopted decisions.

Within her working trip, Board member Aziza Shuzheeva got acquainted with the facilities for educational and production practice, aimed at combining students' theoretical knowledge with professional competencies, the scientific and innovative infrastructure, laboratories, and research centers, as well as the modernization of the library, which is acquiring a new modern appearance.
