A Scientific Council Meeting was held in honor of Sultanbek Tauypbayuly's 70th Birthday

A celebratory scientific council meeting dedicated to the 70th birthday of the distinguished scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and public figure Sultanbek Tauypbayuly Tauypbayev took place at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The opening of the gathering was marked by a speech from the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the university, Nauryzbay Baikadamov. In his address, he emphasized the jubilee's significant contribution to the development of scientific and educational spheres, as well as to the socio-economic well-being of the region. The Rector specifically noted that Sultanbek Tauypbayuly's career began at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, where he honorably fulfilled various responsible duties for 23 years.

At the celebratory meeting, the Deputy Governor of Kyzylorda region, Meirambek Shermagambet, delivered a congratulatory speech and presented a Certificate of Honor from the regional Governor. Furthermore, by a decision of the scientific council, the jubilee was awarded the university's highest honor – the Korkyt Ata Gold Medal, and, according traditions was presented with a chapan (traditional robe).

Serikbay Umirzakov, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor, detailed the jubilee's scientific-pedagogical and organizational activities in his report, highly commending the scientist's contribution to the training of young professionals and the development of rice cultivation. A presentation of a book titled "Paryz parasat" also took place during the celebratory gathering.

Besides, Kylyshbay Bisenov, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor, delivered a report on Sultanbek Tauypbayuly's scientific school, his exemplary path in mentoring students, and his leadership qualities.

At the celebratory meeting, heads of industry institutions, representatives of the veterans' council, Heroes of Labor of Kazakhstan, colleagues, and students offered their congratulations and highly praised Sultanbek Tauypbayuly's tireless work for the benefit of the country.

In conclusion, the jubilee delivered a response speech at the scientific council meeting, expressing gratitude for the attention and warm reception. Sultanbek Tauypbayuly assured that he would continue his exemplary work in the field of science and would further contribute to the development of the region.
