Competition for students under the academic mobility program funded by the republican budget of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with Order №92 of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 25^th, 2026, “On approval of the number of placements for higher and (or) postgraduate education abroad within the framework of academic mobility for 2026”, “Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University” NJSC announces a competition under the academic mobility program funded by the republican budget.

The program provides an opportunity for undergraduate students studying under the state educational grant to study for one academic semester at universities in Europe and Southeast Asia. First- and second-year students are eligible to participate in the competition.

Submission of documents for participation in the academic mobility program funded by the republican budget is carried out in accordance with international cooperation agreements between Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and its foreign partner universities.

Students who successfully pass the competition will be provided with funding to cover round-trip travel expenses, medical insurance, visa costs, and accommodation in a dormitory for the entire period of study.

To participate in the competition, undergraduate students must submit the following documents:

1)      an application addressed to the Head (Rector) of the University;

2)      a copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a national ID card;

3)      an academic transcript certified by the university seal (minimum GPA: 3.0 out of 4.0);

4)      a document confirming foreign language proficiency:

-          an international certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, TOPIK), if available;

5)      students who do not have a language certificate must take an institutional English language test on April 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the Assembly Hall of the main building;

6)      a letter of consent from a foreign university confirming acceptance of the student based on their language level or an official invitation for one academic period;

7)      a medical certificate form №072/u for traveling abroad (to be submitted after receiving an invitation from the foreign university and passing the selection process).

Selection of candidates will be carried out by the Selection Committee in accordance with the “Rules for sending citizens abroad for study, including within the framework of academic mobility”, approved by Order №613 of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 19^th, 2008.
