Active phase of engineering park construction begins

Construction of an engineering park has commenced at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The capsule-laying ceremony for the modern laboratory center was attended by the Governor of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev, members of the Senate and Majilis (Chamber), industry veterans, faculty, and students.

At the event, the head of the region, Nurlybek Mashbekuly, highlighted the significance of social facilities built in the region recently. He emphasized that all conditions are being created for the youth of Aral region to receive education without hindrance and to develop life skills in various clubs and sports sections.

"Nowadays, approximately 200 social facilities have been built in the region. A library, a theater, and a sports arena are currently under construction. All these measures are aimed at providing children with quality education and conscious upbringing. And now, the construction of a wonderful center for our scientists engaged in research is beginning. First and foremost, we will monitor the quality and timeliness of the facility's construction, as it is an investment in the future", noted the regional Governor.

During the capsule-laying ceremony for the laboratory center, speeches were delivered by Ruslan Rustemov, a member of the Parliament Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Nauryzbay Baikadamov, Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The facility, valued at 2 billion 256 million tenge, will be located on an area of 2409 square meters. The engineering park will house laboratories for archaeology and engineering profiles such as "physical and chemical analysis methods", centers for artificial intelligence and academic priority, robotics, remote sensing of the Earth, and IT laboratories. It will also include a lecture hall with 90 seats, a conference hall with 140 seats and computer classrooms.

The scientific and technological facility is planned to be commissioned by the end of the year.
