Meeting was held on legal education issues

At the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Berikbol Baikhozhayev, the regional representative of the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan for Kyzylorda region, met with second-year students of the social work faculty.

During the meeting, human rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international documents were explained in detail. Particularly, the specifics of natural and social rights, as well as their significance for society, were discussed.

Furthermore, the fundamental rights of every citizen, such as the right to life, liberty, education, work, and access to a fair trial, were thoroughly examined.

Students were informed that human rights are inherent to every person from birth and that the state ensures their protection.

Attention was also drawn to the important constitutional laws signed on November 5, 2022, by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Specifically, the significance of the Constitutional Law "On the ombudsman for human rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was clarified.

During the meeting, students received answers to their questions and were able to enhance their legal literacy.
