"SCIENCE WILL SAVE THE WORLD – IV" THE SCIENCE MONTH WAS CONCLUDED

The annual Month of Science, titled "Science will save the world – IV", has concluded at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The event summarized the month-long work aimed at enhancing the university's scientific potential and identified the best participants.

The solemn assembly began with the congratulation of the university staff by the Chairman of the Board – Rector, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, on his award of the Order of "Barys" III degree.

At the opening of the event, the Rector spoke about the work fulfilled within the Science Month and emphasized that the university is engaged in systematic work in the field of scientific research.

During the Science Month, approximately 100 events were organized. Specifically,
27 scientific seminars and webinars, 9 open lectures by professors and instructors, republican and 5 international conferences, 4 round tables dedicated to prominent scientists, 6 student conferences, 5 science Olympiads, also various competitions, clean-up drives, and scientific exhibitions were held.

Professors and instructors who contributed to the development of science and education, the staff of scientific centers and laboratories, as well as students, were awarded letters of appreciation from the rector during the assembly. Besides, special awards were presented to the winners of the "Active TOP 20 Authors" competition, who have publications in high-ranking scientific journals.

This event strengthened the interconnection between science and education, as well as giving a new impetus to the scientific research of young scientists and students.
