Introduced requirements for writing a doctoral dissertation

The Vice-rector for Scientific Work and International Relations of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Mainur Buribayeva, held a meeting with the 1st-year doctoral students.

During the meeting, she familiarized with the instructions for writing and defending a doctoral dissertation. Doctoral students, first of all, together with scientific consultants, clarified the need to develop their plan on the topics of dissertations for three years, the coincidence of the topic of the dissertation with the cipher of the specialty.

She also noted what regulatory documents it is necessary to know when performing research work. She pointed out the mistakes made during the writing of the dissertation, and then during the defense.

Then, having met with doctoral students of the 2nd and 3rd courses, Mainur Abiltaevna noted the problems of writing a dissertation. Students are instructed to work with the list of scientific publications provided by the Committee for quality assurance of  education and science of the MES RK

In the near future, the Elsevier group from Central Asia will organize a series of webinars about the publication of an article for the Scopus magazine and will be hosted by Rabiga Kozhamkul. The webinar will address the issues of publishing articles in Scopus magazine, including literature search, collaboration and search for co-founders, etc.

At the end of the meeting, 3rd-year doctoral student Nurayim Kypshakbay suggested to Mainur Abiltayevna that a center for doctoral students is needed and have the opportunity to discuss her work with other colleagues at this center.
