KORKYT ATA UNIVERSITY SCIENTISTS MET WITH "FOLLOWING IN THE ACADEMICIAN KANYSH SATPAYEV’S FOOTSTEPS" EXPEDITION’S PARTICIPANTS

A meaningful meeting took place at the A. Tazhibayev Regional Universal Library, organized as part of the historical and educational expedition "Following in the footsteps of Academician Kanysh Satpayev", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Zhosaly and Karsakpay historical route’s discovery.

The meeting featured a broad discussion on the scientific legacy of Academician Kanysh Satpayev, one of the founders of Kazakh science, and his invaluable contribution to the development of national science. University scholars Nurlybek Mynzhas, Kali Omarov and Orazkhan Aidarov spoke about Kanysh Satpayev’s achievements in the development of geology, his innovative approach to studying natural resources, and his historical role in shaping the national scientific school. It was also noted that the life path and scientific work of the academician serve as a shining example for the current generation of young researchers.

The expedition participants emphasized the significance of the historical route and discussed the importance of the road between Zhosaly and Karsakpay in the country's history. They noted that such educational projects contribute to the popularization of national history and foster greater interest in science and local history.
