REVERING ABAI: A TRIBUTE TO SPIRITUALITY

On August 10th, in honor of Abay Day, a commemorative ceremony was held at the specialized school for gifted children with instruction in three languages, which bears the name of the great poet.

The solemn event was attended by scholars from the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, led by the Chairman of the Board — Rector Nauryzbay Baikadamov. University representatives laid flowers at the poet’s monument, expressing deep respect for his spiritual legacy.

During the event, the creative heritage of the great thinker was showcased through literary and musical performances. Attendees listened to Abay’s songs, such as "Zhelsiz tunde zharyk ai" and "Ozgege konilim toyarsyn» and explored excerpts from his profound and instructive "Words of edification".

Abay’s works, which have not lost their relevance even centuries later, call for knowledge, wisdom, humanity, and kindness. The great poet's rich legacy, being an essential part of national spirituality, continues to contribute to the formation of spiritual and moral values in the younger generation.
