THE UNIVERSITY RECTOR ATTENDED THE REGIONAL AUGUST EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University Nauryzbay Baikadamov – attended the regional August educational conference entitled “Principles and values of the new national constitution: human capital development – the strategic foundation of the education system”, at which he delivered a presentation.

The traditional August conference has become an important forum for identifying key priorities for the new academic year in the field of education and for discussing topical issues. The regional achievements in the field of education were summarised during the event, important initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education were discussed in detail, and objectives for the future were set.

At the conference particular attention was paid to improving the education system, enhancing the professional capacity of teachers, strengthening the link between education and science, and developing human capital.

At the meeting, Nurgazy Zhapbarov, a senior lecturer on the “Foreign Languages and Translation” educational programme and holder of a Master’s degree in Humanities, was awarded the state medal “For Heroic Labour” by decree of the Head of State, K.K. Tokayev, for his services to education.

During the meeting, due recognition was given to the contribution of teachers who have worked tirelessly in the field of education and have helped to provide the younger generation with a high-quality education and proper upbringing.
