“CLEAN KAZAKHSTAN”: UNIVERSITY STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN AN ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPAIGN

Active students and volunteers from the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University joined an international environmental campaign timed to coincide with World Cleanup Day, which took place as part of the national environmental program “Clean Kazakhstan”.

During the event, university students contributed to the city’s greening efforts by participating in tree planting. Murat Yergeshbaev, the regional Governor, joined this noble initiative and also helped plant saplings. 

Also participating in the campaign were members of the Kurultai, law enforcement officials, veterans, representatives of the intellectual community, members of the regional and city maslikhats (Councils), as well as heads and staff of regional administrations, departments and inspectorates.

As part of the national environmental campaign “Clean Kazakhstan”, initiated by our President, work on landscaping and greening continues on an ongoing basis in the region.

For students and volunteers at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, participating in such environmental campaigns serves as an important example of civic engagement and care for nature.

The university’s youth intend to continue actively participating in initiatives aimed at protecting the environment, improving their native region, and fostering an environmental culture.
