A NEW STEP IN THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE COMMUNITY

Representatives of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University are participating in a high-level event held in New York as part of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. On behalf of the University, Chairman of the Board – Rector Nauryzbay Baikadamov and Member of the Board – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dana Abdrasheva took part in the High-Level Dialogue on Science Diplomacy and Global Cooperation of the Science Summit, engaging in discussions with representatives of the international scientific community.

The meeting, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and ICESCO, focused on the development of science diplomacy, strengthening international academic cooperation, enhancing the potential of scientific research, and advancing innovative projects. Particular attention was also given to the role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in contemporary scientific and educational processes, the Sustainable Development Goals, and new mechanisms for supporting young researchers.

The high-level international gathering provides the University with new opportunities to expand professional ties with foreign higher education institutions and research centers. In particular, it creates a strong foundation for strengthening cooperation in joint research and international projects, developing academic mobility, and creating new opportunities for students and young researchers.

It is worth noting that the international gathering is taking place on 21–22 September. Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University’s active engagement in the global scientific and educational community will contribute to further promoting the potential of regional science and expanding the University’s international academic and research partnerships.
