New paradigms in language teaching

As part of the 85th anniversary of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, a scientific and methodological seminar for foreign language teachers "New paradigms in language teaching" (new directions in teaching foreign languages) was organized.

The event, which was held by the Department of "Foreign languages and translation", was attended by about 90 teachers from 40 schools of the region.

At the meeting, the vice-rector for Research and International Relations at the University, Maynur Buribayeva, noted changes in the field of education.

The head of the working group on international scholarship programs Temirbolat Kenshinbai explained the specifics of programs for foreign language teachers and students and called for joint work. In addition, the teaching staff of the department shared the methods of organizing and conducting scientific work.

The seminar was held in sections: "Research work of students", "Digital resources in education", "Research work in the learning process". 

Volunteer teachers from the USA and Korea Kelsey Dobrovsky and Yoo Hye Jin, Kim Yong Bom conducted methodological trainings.

During the seminar, I shared my experience about teaching methods based to the task. We discussed the specifics of the education of the two countries and consulted on the inclusion of effective methods and techniques in the educational program," Yoo Hye Jin said.

At the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates.
