Teacher's Day is a celebration of wisdom, knowledge, and work!

As part of the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, in honor of the Teacher's Day, a solemn meeting was held on the theme "Ustazym, bir ozine bas iemin!".

At the festive event, Acting Rector of the University Nurlan Urazbayev noted the significant work of the teaching staff and congratulated them on their professional holiday.

 "Today, the university is among the best educational institutions in the country. We entered the top ten according to the "National rating of popular universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan – 2022". This is a huge contribution of teachers to the annual development of the educational institution and to the training of in-demand specialists in our country," said Nurlan Zhetkergenovich"

In the new academic year, a number of university employees who are considered professionals in their field received awards. The teaching staff who trained highly qualified specialists were awarded a Letter of Thanks from the Akim of the Kyzylorda region, the regional trade Union of Education, and the employees who contributed to the strategic development of the educational institution were awarded special awards by the Chairman of the Board-Rector.

The event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, university veterans, faculty and students. The solemn event ended with a festive concert of the teaching staff and students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.

It should be noted that today 470 teaching staff work at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Among them are 27 doctors of philosophy, 22 doctors of sciences, 176 candidates of sciences, 11 professors, 48 associate professors, 185 masters. This year, the number of students in the educational institution exceeded 9 thousand people.
