The street is named after the professor

In Kyzylorda, the street was named after the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Zhenis Utemisov. Now 12 Saulet Street is named after the scientist.

The professor has worked as a teacher at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University for more than 20 years. For 12 years he was dean of the Faculty of Music Pedagogy, almost 4 years – head of the Department of Musical Instruments. Zhenis Utemisov is an experienced director. For many years, he has been actively involved in various cultural events in the Kyzylorda region. In 2003, the scientist was elected a corresponding member of the International Academy of Pedagogical Education.

Zhenis Utemisov was awarded an Honorary Diploma of the Regional Council for his services in holding the 60th anniversary of Kazakhstan, in 1988 - "The best director of the region", in 1996 — a republican diploma for active participation in the Days of Culture and Art of the Kyzylorda region in Alma-Ata, the medal "Y. Altynsarin". He was awarded the honorary titles of "Excellent Student of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Honored Worker of Kazakhstan".

Today, his students successfully work in different regions of the country. Among them are honored artists and figures of the country, holders of state awards, laureates of international and republican competitions.
