An international conference dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Temirbek Zhurgenov

The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted the international conference "Ult rukhaniyaty zhane T.Zhurgenov murasy: zhasampazdygy men zerttelu kenistigi", dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Temirbek Zhurgenov.

The conference was attended by well-known scientists, academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, statesmen, as well as Deputy Akim of the Kyzylorda region Nurymbet Saktaganov, Secretary General of the International Organization "TURKSOY" Sultan Raev.

The conference featured new research on the fate of the representative of the spirituality of the nation, statesman and public figure Temirbek Zhurgenov, his merits for the Kazakh people

- The TURKSOY International Organization has declared 2023 the Year of Zhurgenov in the Turkic World. In the jubilee year, large-scale events were organized, a presentation of books about Temirbek Zhurgenov was held in Ankara and in Astana. In the near future, events about the national figure will be held in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. And also this year, the premiere of the play "Narcom Zhurgenov" will take place in Turkey in October," said Sultan Raev, Secretary General of the TURKSOY organization.

During the conference, the presentation of the book by Beibit Koishybayev "Commissar Zhurgenov" took place. The novel describes the life of Temirbek Zhurgenov, selfless work for the good of the country and the condition of the repressed family.

Also in the scientific library of Korkyt ata  Kyzylorda University organized a special book exhibition on the theme "Kazakh rukhaniyatyn zharyk zhuldyz".

It should be noted that the conference was attended by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Doctor of Historical Sciences Mambet Koigeldiev, President of the Arys Foundation, Director of the Arys Publishing House, Doctor of Philology Anes Garifolla, Acting Director of the Institute of State History, member of the National Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Burkitbai Ayagan, author of the book "Commissar Zhurgenov", writer, publicist, scientist, Candidate of Historical Sciences Beibit Koishybaev, K. A. Professor of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Yassawi, Doctor of Historical Sciences Tursyn Khazretali, Associate Professor of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Candidate of Philological Sciences Bauyrzhan Imangaliev, Professor of the University. Mugly Sytki Kochman of the Republic of Turkey Kenan Koch, Chairman of the Public Foundation "Temirbek Zhurgenov" Sabi Ansatov, Kyzylorda University.
