A solemn meeting dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day

A solemn meeting "Eldik te, erlik te urpakka amanat" was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

At the solemn meeting, the Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova noted that the protection of the peace of a sovereign country is a sacred duty of every citizen.

- The Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan are an unshakable guarantee of the security of the state and the peaceful life of the population.

This year marks the 78th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War. During this cruel period, the front-line soldiers tirelessly fought to protect the people from the enemy, and our brothers and sisters who remained in the country worked day after day and night, supported them. Our happy life on a peaceful day is the result of the feat of front-line soldiers," said Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna.

At the meeting, a number of university employees were awarded the Korkyt Ata Gold Medal, the Rector's Certificate of Honor, and a Letter of Thanks. The Uzdik Tulek medals were also awarded to graduates who studied at our university with honors, have now become professional masters of their craft and make a special contribution to the development of the country.

In honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day, university scientists familiarized with the works that are invested in the country's defense system. Scientists have developed protective equipment using technologies for processing oil waste, oil refining.

It is worth noting that in the 2000-2001 academic year, a military department was opened at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University for the first time. The department trains reserve officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform combat missions in wartime.
