Competition on the Academic mobility program of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan №119 dated May 5, 2023 "On approval of the number of places to study abroad within the framework of academic mobility for 2023" NJSC  "Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University" announces a competition for an academic mobility program based on the republican budget for undergraduate students studying under a state educational order (grant) for one semester. Students of 1-2-3 courses can take part in the competition.

Submission of documents for participation in the competition within the framework of academic mobility at the expense of the republican budget is carried out in accordance with international cooperation agreements between Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and foreign partner universities.

To participate in the competition, undergraduate students must submit the following list of documents:

1. To the Documentation Support Department of the University:

1) student's application addressed to the Head of the university;

2) a copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) document of education: transcript of current academic performance, certified by the seal of the university;

4) a document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (the applicant provides one of the following documents):

-a certificate obtained through the international foreign language proficiency assessment systems (IELTS, TOEFL), if any;

-a letter of consent from a foreign university to accept a student with an existing level of a foreign language or an invitation to study for one academic period, if any;

- If there is no document on the level of proficiency in a foreign language, then institutional testing will be conducted according to the TOEFL ITP program (the date of the event will be announced additionally);

5) medical certificate in form №072/y (for traveling abroad);

6) written consent of the applicant's parents, guardians, legal representatives to travel abroad, in case they do not reach the age of eighteen at the time of departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan;

7) a document on the composition of the family, to confirm the large family of the student (if any);

8) a document confirming the absence of the student's parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care (if any);

9) a document confirming the student's disability (if any).

2. On еgov.kz:

1) application signed by the applicant's EDS;

2) electronic copy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) electronic copy of educational documents: transcript of current academic performance, certified by the university seal;

4) an electronic copy of the document confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (the applicant provides one of the following documents):

-certificate obtained through international systems of assessment of knowledge of a foreign language, if any;

-a letter of consent from a foreign university to accept a student with an existing level of a foreign language or an invitation to study for one academic period, if any;

-- If there is no document on the level of proficiency in a foreign language, then institutional testing will be conducted according to the TOEFL ITP program (the date of the event will be announced additionally);

5) an electronic copy of the medical certificate in the form №072/u (for traveling abroad);

6) an electronic copy of the written consent of the applicant's parents, guardians, legal representatives to travel abroad, if they do not reach the age of eighteen at the time of departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan;

7) an electronic copy of the document on the composition of the family, to confirm the large family of the student (if available);

8) an electronic copy of the document confirming the absence of the student's parents (for the category of students belonging to orphans or students left without parental care (if any);

9) an electronic copy of the document confirming the student's disability (if any).

The selection of applicants is carried out by the Commission for the selection of applicants according to the "Rules of direction for studying abroad, including within the framework of academic mobility" approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 19, 2008 №613.

Consultations on participation in the competition are held in the Department of International Relations of the University at the address: Kyzylorda, Aiteke Bi str. 29-A, Main building, 2nd floor, offices №212, №224, tel.26-17-25 , 26-29-57.

1) The Documentation Support Department works: from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm with a lunch break from 13.00 pm to 14.30 pm, except weekends and holidays, according to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Acceptance of documents and issuance of the result of the provision of public services is carried out from 9.00 am to 17.30 pm with a lunch break from 13.00 pm to 14.30 pm.

Reception is carried out on a first-come, first-served basis, without prior appointment and expedited service.
