Record number of winners in the project «500 scientists» at Korkyt Ata University

As a result of the decision of the Republican Commission for Training Personnel Abroad dated June 22, 2023, 14 teachers of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University became holders of a scholarship for the 500 Scientists project

The 500 Scientists program was approved in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in order to develop the professional competencies of scientists in the leading scientific centers of the world. So, for the first time last year, 6 people were sent to universities such as: University of Tubingen (Germany); George Washington University (USA); Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry named after A.E. Arbuzov (Republic of Tatarstan); Russian Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev (Russia); Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosova (Russia); Belarusian State Agrotechnical University (Belarus)

Already in the autumn of 2023, 14 scientists of our university will begin an internship at the expense of the state to exchange experience, conduct joint research in leading foreign universities and research centers. These are specialists in the fields of physics, archaeology, water resources, heat and power engineering, construction, foreign languages, pedagogy and psychology

The project "500 scientists" provides a unique opportunity to improve their qualifications, improve their competencies. Our colleagues will return and invest their efforts to build a strong regional university — Korkyt Ata University.
