Educational grants from the KAZENERGY Association

Kazakhstan Association of Organizations of the Oil and Gas and Energy Complex "KAZENERGY" is an independent non-profit organization. Voluntary association of oil and gas and energy complex organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan аnnounces a competition for an academic grant for a year for candidates entering and studying at universities.

Candidates entering and studying at universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan can take part in the competition. Applications will be accepted from July 20 to August 31.

Conditions for applicants and students to universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the competition www.kazenergy.com posted on the website.

Conditions of participation in the competition:

1) citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2) unconditional admission or training to an educational institution (if the student has no financial debt).

3) compliance of academic performance with the following indicators:     

- CT/CT certificate of 80 points and above;

- the average academic performance of a candidate for a diploma is at least 4.0 (out of 5.0) for persons enrolled in the 1st (first) year of bachelor's degree;

- for applicants who have completed the 1st (first) bachelor's degree course, the average score is not less than 3.0 (B);

- for candidates who have completed 2-3 (second, third) bachelor's degree courses, GPA is not less than 3.33 (B+);

- For candidates enrolled in any postgraduate education course, the GPA is at least 3.33 (B+).

List of required documents:

1) a copy of the identity card /birth certificate/passport with an indication of the individual identification number (IIN).

2) a copy of the document confirming the previous education and the academic performance score (CT/CT certificate or diploma) – for those enrolled in the 1st (first) year and for students – a transcript indicating the GPA for the previous academic year (if there is another knowledge assessment system, at least 3.0 (B) for those who completed the 1st (first)bachelor's degree course. Providing a certificate of academic performance equivalent to a GPA certified by the educational department; a GPA of at least 3.33 (B+) for persons who have completed 2-3 (second, third) bachelor's degree courses, as well as at least 3.33 (B+) for persons enrolled in all postgraduate education courses.

3) certificate of family composition (only for large families).

4) documentary evidence of one (or several) of these categories, if any: low-income and (or) incomplete family, orphan, disabled person.

5) signed (certified on the official letterhead of the educational institution or stamped) certificate of enrollment / training (for payment by legal entities, the cost of training for 1 (one) academic year, course and form of study, absence of financial debt) is indicated.

6) copies of documents certifying participation in competitions, Olympiads, etc. (if available).
