Memorandum of cooperation

A delegation from South Korea arrived in Kyzylorda region on a two-day visit. The foreign delegation includes Choi Gyeonggak, Chairman of the Chong Gyeongwon Naval Battle Memorial Fund, Secretary General of the Korean Center for History and Culture Lee Donong, professor and researcher at the Korean Independence Memorial House, as well as students and high school students from more than 30 higher educational institutions.

The main purpose of the visit is to introduce Korean youth to the history and culture of the Korean ethnic group in Kazakhstan. Thus, further expansion of ties between the two countries.

On the first day of the visit, the guests visited the memorial complex and laid flowers at the monuments to General Hong Bom Do and writer Ge Bon Woo. On the first day of the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the historical museum of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and visited the fund of rare books and manuscripts of Korean history.

On the second day of the visit, the most important issues of the development of bilateral relations with the public of the city were discussed at the House of Friendship. The issues of expanding cooperation and implementing joint projects in the field of education were discussed.

Then the signing ceremony of the memorandum of exchange in the field of education took place. On behalf of the Victory Memorial Fund in the Sea Battle in the Korean Strait, the Chairman of the Foundation Choi Gyeongkhak signed, on behalf of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University - Acting Chairman of the Board-Rector, member of the Board, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Finance Nurlan Urazbayev.
