The auditorium of Professor Zhaksybek Egizbayev

The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University has opened an auditorium named after the honorary sports figure of Kazakhstan, Honorary Worker of Еducation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Zhaksybek Egizbayev.

At the solemn event, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai noted the scientist's contribution to science and education.

- Today we are witnessing this instructive event that benefits society. Descendants of scientists who have worked for many years at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, as well as themselves contribute to the development of education. They participate in the modernization of the audience, strengthening the material and technical base. Over the past 4 years, we have been opening the 15th auditorium at the university at the expense of sponsors.

The scientist is the author of more than 150 scientific articles, more than 10 teaching aids and informative books filled with instructions. He devoted his life to the development of education and science, – said Zhandos Nurtayevich.

At the solemn event, Professor Balgyn Egizbayevа's daughter was awarded the "Korkyt Ata Gold Medal" for her contribution to the strategic development of the educational institution.

The event was attended by relatives of the scientist, teachers and students. And also the director of the football club "Kaysar", Honorary Sports worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sadyk Mustafa, director of the Kyzylorda Agrarian and Technical Higher College named after I.Abdykarimov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Bakhytkhan Abdykarimov, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor, student Zhandos Yessirkepov.

It is worth noting that in 1970-1980, Zhaksybek Egizbaуev worked as the director of the children's and youth sports school of Zhanakorgan district of the Kyzylorda region.

From 1980 to 1990 he worked as a school inspector of the Kyzylorda 

Regional Department of Education, director of the Makarenko Children's Home, head of the office of the Regional Institute for Teacher Improvement, head of academic affairs of the regional children's and youth sports school.

Since 1990, he worked as the head of the Department of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

In 1999-2003, he was elected deputy of the Kyzylorda city Maslikhat of the second convocation. As a deputy, he also took an active part in the social, political life of the city, promoted physical culture and sports, made a significant contribution to the development of mass sports.
